Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what data MyClippingViews (the "Service") collects, why, how it is protected, and the rights you have over it. It applies to the MyClippingViews mobile app and this website.

1. Who we are

The Service is operated by PROQUIES, a company registered in France (SIREN 911 316 560) ("we", "us"), the data controller for the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. Data we collect

Account email address — used to create and identify your account and to send transactional emails.
Read-only OAuth tokens for the platform accounts you choose to connect (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube). These tokens grant read-only access to public video statistics only. They are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM.
Public video metadata and statistics of the videos on the connected accounts — such as views, likes, comments, shares and thumbnails — refreshed approximately once per hour.
Campaign data you create in the app, such as campaign names, payout grids and the accounts attached to them.

We never publish, post, comment, message or take any action on the connected accounts. The Service only reads public metrics.

3. How we protect your data

We apply the following safeguards to protect your data, including any data obtained through Google APIs:

Encryption in transit. All communication between the app, our servers, and the connected platforms' APIs (Google, TikTok, Meta) uses HTTPS/TLS.
Encryption at rest. OAuth access and refresh tokens are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM before being stored in our database. Tokens are never stored in plaintext, never stored on your device, and never written to logs.
Access controls. Access to production systems and the database is restricted to the developer operating the Service and protected by unique credentials. Row-level security policies ensure each user can only access their own data.
Data minimization. We request read-only OAuth scopes only, limited to what is needed to compute view counts and estimated earnings. We never request write access, and we never publish, post, comment or take any action on a connected account.
Secure deletion. OAuth tokens are deleted immediately when you disconnect a platform account. All account data is erased within 30 days of account deletion — see our Data Deletion page.
Compliance. Our access, use and storage of information received via Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Providing the Service — creating your account, connecting accounts, importing videos and computing estimated earnings. Legal basis: performance of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).
Keeping statistics up to date and securing the Service — periodic refresh of public metrics, abuse prevention and debugging. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).
Transactional emails (e.g. account and data-deletion confirmations). Legal basis: performance of the contract.

5. Processors and third parties

We rely on a small number of processors to run the Service:

Supabase — database and authentication (EU region).
Railway — application hosting.
Resend — transactional emails.

Campaign managers. If you take part in a campaign operated by a manager, the metrics of your own clips within that campaign — views, number of clips and estimated earnings — may be shared with the manager who operates that campaign (the person running the campaign you chose to join). This is the purpose for which you joined the campaign. We do not share your data with anyone else, other than the processors listed above.

We run no advertising, and we set no tracking cookies (this website is fully static and uses no cookies).

6. Data retention

When you disconnect a platform account in the app, its OAuth tokens are deleted immediately.
When you delete your account, all associated data is erased within 30 days. See our Data Deletion page.
We otherwise keep data only for as long as needed to provide the Service.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port your data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, email contact@myclippingviews.com from your account email address.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In France, this is the CNIL (Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés, www.cnil.fr).

8. Platform-specific disclosures

YouTube API Services

MyClippingViews uses YouTube API Services. By using the parts of the Service that connect a YouTube channel, you also agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Our use and transfer of information received from YouTube API Services follows the Google Privacy Policy.

Through the YouTube Data API we access and store, in read-only mode, public metadata and statistics of the videos on the connected channel (title, thumbnail, view / like / comment counts). This data is refreshed approximately once per hour so that earnings estimates stay current. We do not access private videos, and we never upload, modify or delete content.

You can revoke MyClippingViews' access to your Google/YouTube account at any time via the Google security settings page: https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.

TikTok

Through the TikTok API we access and store, in read-only mode, public metadata and statistics of the videos on the connected TikTok account, refreshed approximately once per hour. We comply with the TikTok Developer Terms and Platform Policies, and we never post or act on your account.

You can revoke access at any time in the TikTok app under Settings and privacy → Security and login (or Security) → Apps and services.

Instagram / Meta

Through the Meta Graph API we access and store, in read-only mode, public metadata and statistics of the videos on the connected Instagram account, refreshed approximately once per hour. We comply with the Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies, and we never post or act on your account.

You can revoke access at any time in your Instagram or Facebook settings under Settings → Apps and websites. See also our Data Deletion page.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and you must meet the minimum age set out in our Terms of Service.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, by notifying you in the app.
